The “Leaf It To Rusk Fall Festival” is a celebration of the art and autumn splendor of Rusk County.
The festival begins on Wednesday, September 26 and continues through Sunday, September 30. See artwork and demonstrations, enjoy great food and live performances, and participate in tours and activities throughout this five-day series of fun events.

Highlights of the “Leaf It To Rusk Fall Festival” include:
Artrain USA—On Saturday and Sunday, the Artrain USA will be making its only stop this year in northwestern Wisconsin. The gallery on the Artrain will feature “Native Views: Influences of Modern Culture,” a fascinating collection of 71 works of art by 54 different Native American artists. - Displays by Area Artist—Rusk County is home to a wide variety of talented artists, including painters, potters, sculptors and fiber artists. Throughout the festival, you’ll see the works of these artists displayed. There will also be demonstrations by the artists with hands-on audience participation. It’s a great opportunity to meet working artists and learn more about their work.
- Fall Color Tours, Hikes and Events—Mother Nature’s autumn art will be on display throughout the Leaf It To Rusk Fall Festival—get involved in fun activities throughout the weekend and experience the full splendor of the season. Self-guided auto tours, special hikes and Christie Mountain (Saturday and Sunday) chairlift rides will help you connect with the visual delights of fall in Rusk County.
- Entertainment—Live music, special performances and a Pow-wow highlight the festival.
- Farmers Market—On Wednesday and Saturday, the festival will feature a Farmers Market. Taste the fall harvest—fruits, veggies, baked goods and lots of local favorites.
- Food—On Saturday and Sunday, enjoy a variety of food and beverages. A special feature will be Native America fare.
